I-Play Launches New Title The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip

NEW YORK, NY—September 18, 2008 - I-Play, Oberon’s Media publishing division and the world’s leading multi-platform casual games publisher, today announced the launch of The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip. Created in partnership with Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group, the new gaming title is the fifth title to be released from the best-selling mobile racing franchise in the world. The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip, based on the blockbuster The Fast and the Furious movie franchise, is available this week on all domestic wireless carriers.

“With more than 10 million downloads, The Fast and the Furious is the most renowned title in mobile racing today”, said Don Ryan, COO, Oberon Media, I-play’s parent company. “Gamers won’t be able to put down their phones while using the game’s advanced features, and they’ll love the new cinematic sequences. The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip is sure to attract even more users to the best mobile driving experience available.”

In The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip, it doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile to score “street cred” or your opponent’s car. Using such game features as the revolutionary betting system, users can win their opponent’s car and add it to their garage. With the emphasis on four different types of challenging races -- point 2 point, drift racing, drag racing and police chase -- The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip is easy for users to play, but difficult to master. Gamers have access to 32 different vehicles, including muscle cars, import, exotic, sports and performance cars, and the game features cars, key scenes and characters from the past three blockbuster films.

Through an agreement with the Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group, I-play is the developer and publisher of The Fast and the Furious mobile franchise. To date, the partnership has yielded five gaming titles: The Fast and the Furious; 2 Fast, 2 Furious; The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo, The Fast and the Furious: Fugitive, and now, The Fast and the Furious: Pink Slip. The game series has won multiple awards and is known for the high-quality gameplay. The Fast and the Furious games are available to download from Cingular, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and Nextel. The gaming titles are also available directly for download from I-play.
